Harold Raynolds House

Harold Raynolds House
1037 7th Street; Built 1902-08

The Raynolds family established the First National Bank of Las Vegas in 1878 and later became involved in the banking industry in Albuquerque. This family background might help explain son Harold's Chicago-style mansion. Chicago influence is seen in the Prairie-style massing (horizontal and hugging the ground) and the wide eaves made popular by Frank Lloyd Wright.
